Phase N/A

This study looks at how mental practice (MP) combined with physical practice (PP) helps people with Parkinson's Disease (PD) who have trouble walking, known as "freezing of gait" (FOG). Participants are randomly assigned to two groups: one group does mental and physical practice, while the other does physical practice and stretching. Each person will have 10 sessions over 6 weeks, with each session lasting 45-60 minutes, held via video call. The key tests are the Rapid Turn Test and time spent with FOG. Other tests check movement, quality of life, and thinking skills. The goal is to see if MP can help reduce FOG and improve movement and thinking in those with PD.

  • Study lasts for 6 weeks with 10 video call sessions.
  • Participants need internet access and a caregiver might be needed.
  • Participants must have a PD diagnosis and experience FOG.
