Chinese DENOVO PD Registry

Chinese DENOVO PD Registry: Tracking Parkinson's disease progression.

Recruiting
30-75 years
All
Phase N/A

This study looks at Parkinson's Disease (PD), a brain disorder that causes shaking, stiffness, and problems with balance. It wants to learn more about PD and find special signs, called biomarkers, that show how the disease changes over time. People from China with new PD cases will join. They'll go to regular doctor visits over a year, where doctors check their movement and other symptoms. Tests will also check their thinking, sleep, and smell. Participants will give blood samples for genetic tests and have a brain scan to rule out other issues. The study needs people who have had PD for two years or less, are not on PD treatment, and are aged 30 to 75. They should not have other brain disorders or serious thinking problems.

  • Duration: Participants will be involved for about 1 year.
  • Visits: Regular follow-up visits to check symptoms.
  • Eligibility: Newly diagnosed, untreated PD patients aged 30-75.
