This study looks at how people with Parkinson's disease feel about their balance and their fear of moving, called kinesiophobia. Parkinson's is a brain disorder that affects movement. We will compare 31 people with Parkinson's to 31 healthy people. We’ll use special tests to check how well they think they can balance and how scared they are of falling. These tests include the MMSE (a short test to check if the mind is working well) and the MDS-UPDRS (a scale to see how Parkinson's affects movement). We'll also use scales like the ABC-6 for balance confidence, BBS for overall balance, FES for fear of falling, and TSK for kinesiophobia.
- The study involves 62 participants aged 50-80 years.
- Participants must be diagnosed with Parkinson's and willing to join.
- Excludes those with other neurological or psychiatric disorders.
