This study explores how a special brain device, the Medtronic Percept™ PC or RC DBS system, helps people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). This device tracks brain signals called local field potentials (LFPs). LFPs are tiny electrical signals in the brain. Scientists want to see how these signals relate to movements and walking. The study will last at least four weeks. Participants need to have had the device for at least three months.
- The study lasts at least four weeks.
- Participants must already have a Medtronic Percept™ DBS system.
- Participants should not have major muscle or brain issues that affect movement.
People who join will help researchers understand how brain signals affect movement. This could help improve treatments for movement problems in PD. Participants should not have serious muscle or brain issues that could affect the study. Participation is voluntary and requires the ability to give consent.
