Study Purpose: This study tests if using the SpiroGym app can help Parkinson's patients improve their cough strength. The app provides visual feedback while training the muscles used in breathing out hard, called Expiratory Muscle Strength Training (EMST). This visual feedback may make the training more effective.

Study Details: The study is conducted over 24 weeks. Patients are split into two groups: one using the app and one not. Both groups do the same breathing exercises. Researchers will compare which group shows more improvement in their cough strength.

  • **Study Duration:** Up to 24 weeks.
  • **Visits Required:** Regular training sessions, details provided by the study team.
  • **Participant Requirements:** Must have Parkinson's disease and stable on medication; cannot have other neurological disorders or severe breathing issues.

Considerations: This study might help improve how Parkinson’s patients manage their cough, but it requires commitment to regular training sessions. There are no specific risks mentioned, but always discuss participation with your doctor.
