This study explores how a special brain training called fNIRS-based Neurofeedback impacts balance and walking in people with Parkinson's Disease (PD). Part 1 checks how tiredness affects imagining movements, while part 2 tests if the brain training helps more than just imagining. PD is a brain disorder that makes moving difficult. fNIRS is a tool that looks at brain activity. Neurofeedback involves getting real-time feedback about your brain activity to improve it.
Participants with PD will be split into groups. Some will try neurofeedback plus movement imagining, and others will do only imagining or movement training. Sessions last 12 times over 4 weeks. Balance and walking will be measured before, during, and after training.
- Study lasts 4 weeks with 12 training sessions.
- Participants must walk independently and be aged 40-85.
- Excludes those with certain medical conditions or medications.
