Parkinson’s disease (PD) can affect the brain, making it hard to think and remember things. This study looks at how exercise might help people with PD think better. Right now, there aren’t many treatments for thinking problems in PD, but exercise, especially aerobic exercise like walking or biking, might help. Researchers will test if doing these exercises at home for a year can improve brain health in people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) from PD. They will check the participants' thinking skills and look at certain chemicals in the blood before and after the exercise program. The goal is to see if exercise can change the way PD affects the brain.
Key Points:- Participants will commit to a moderate/vigorous exercise program at home for 12 months.
- Eligible participants are 30-80 years old, have PD, and don't exercise much already.
- People with certain medical conditions or who are pregnant cannot join the study.
