This study investigates familial pancreatic cancer. It focuses on understanding the genetic factors that may contribute to the condition in family members of those affected.
The study evaluates the genetic background of participants using a saliva-swab-based test. It seeks to identify specific genetic markers associated with familial pancreatic cancer.
- Who can participate: Adults who are part of the IRFARPC registry and have a family history of pancreatic cancer can participate. They must be willing to undergo genetic testing.
- Study details: Participants will provide a saliva sample for genetic testing. This test uses a 41-gene panel to check for genetic markers. An inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine is not involved in this study.
