AI-powered Early Detection for Pancreatic Cancer Via Non-contrast CT in Opportunistic Screening Cohort

Research Study on AI-Powered Screening for Early Pancreatic Cancer Detection

Recruiting

Phase N/A

This study investigates pancreatic cancer using an AI-powered system. The purpose of this study is to explore how this technology can detect pancreatic abnormalities, such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and related lesions, using non-contrast CT scans.

The study focuses on evaluating the safety and effectiveness of the AI system in identifying pancreatic lesions. It will look into how well the system performs in detecting these conditions in a clinical setting, with the goal of improving early detection methods.

  • Who can participate: Adults who are undergoing routine non-contrast chest or abdominal CT scans for reasons not related to pancreatic issues can participate. Individuals with a history of pancreatic cancer or recent abdominal surgery are not eligible.
  • Study details: Participants will have their CT scans analyzed by an AI system to detect pancreatic issues. If the AI system indicates a potential problem, two radiologists will review the results.
