This study investigates gastrointestinal cancer. It focuses on developing a noninvasive method to identify this condition using circulating microRNAs (miRNAs).
The study evaluates the effectiveness of a miRNA-based signature to distinguish between cancer and non-cancer individuals. The purpose of this study is to create a reliable and accessible screening tool for early detection of gastrointestinal cancer.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with certain gastrointestinal cancers or are non-cancer controls can participate. Participants must have available retrospective blood samples and agree to the use of de-identified data.
- Study details: Participants will provide blood samples for analysis. The study involves comparing these samples to identify specific miRNAs associated with cancer.
