This study investigates a vaccine for individuals at high risk of developing pancreatic cancer. It will focus on the effects of a mutant-KRAS peptide vaccine combined with an adjuvant called poly-ICLC.
The study evaluates the vaccine's safety and how it affects the immune system. Researchers will look at changes in specific immune cells after vaccination.
- Who can participate: Adults who are at high risk for pancreatic cancer, based on family history or genetic mutations, may be eligible. Participants must have a pancreatic abnormality and meet other health criteria.
- Study details: Participants will receive a vaccine and may have follow-up visits. A placebo, which looks like the vaccine but contains no medicine, may be used for comparison.
