This study investigates pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. It looks at how safe and tolerable a new investigational therapy is when used with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel, compared to using gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel alone.
The study evaluates the overall survival of participants receiving the investigational therapy. It focuses on the treatment's safety and effectiveness.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma can join. Participants must have tumors that express EGFR and have progressed after certain first-line therapies.
- Study details: Participants will receive investigational therapy alongside standard treatments. Some will get a placebo, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine but does not contain any medicine.
- Study timelines and visits: The study will last approximately 6 months. The study requires bi-weekly visits for 3 weeks, followed by weekly visits for 7 weeks.
