This study investigates pancreatic cancer. It focuses on identifying biomarkers that can be found in duodenal pancreatic juice, which is a fluid that can be collected through a procedure called endoscopy.
This study evaluates the potential of these biomarkers to assist in the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. It is an exploratory study investigating how these markers can be used effectively.
- Who can participate: Adults 19 years and older who are undergoing specific endoscopic procedures for medical reasons can participate. Participants will be divided into those with pancreatic cancer and those without, based on specific medical criteria.
- Study details: Participants will have duodenal fluid collected during an endoscopy. This fluid will be analyzed to find biomarkers. An inactive substance called a placebo is not used in this study.
