This study investigates the role of microRNA in pancreatic cancer. MicroRNA are small molecules that can be found in the blood and tumors of patients with this condition.
The study evaluates the potential of microRNA detection for early diagnosis and prognosis. It also looks into how these molecules might predict treatment response.
- Who can participate: Adults with biopsy-proven pancreatic cancer, either locally advanced or metastatic, are eligible. Participants must have measurable disease and an ECOG performance status of 2 or less.
- Study details: Participants will provide blood samples for microRNA analysis. A placebo is not involved in this study.
