This study investigates pancreatic cancer. It examines the effectiveness and safety of capecitabine monotherapy as a maintenance treatment following standard chemotherapy.
The purpose of this study is to determine if ctDNA-MRD testing can guide the selection of the best maintenance therapy post-surgery. It focuses on assessing the safety and effectiveness of this approach.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and over with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma may be eligible. Participants should have undergone successful surgery without distant cancer spread and be in good general health.
- Study details: Participants will be given an investigational medication, capecitabine, to assess its effectiveness as a maintenance therapy. Some may receive a placebo, an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine but does not contain any medicine.
