Phase N/A

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of geriatric intervention on chemotherapy tolerance in patients with gastric, biliary, and pancreatic cancer. This study focuses on frail patients who are receiving palliative chemotherapy.

This study evaluates how geriatric intervention might affect chemotherapy tolerance, treatment-related toxicity, and quality of life. It seeks to understand these factors in frail patients undergoing treatment for gastric, biliary, and pancreatic cancer.

  • Who can participate: Patients aged 65 or older with metastatic or unresectable gastric, biliary, and pancreatic cancer may participate. They must be able to sign an informed consent and have an estimated survival period of more than 3 months.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo a frailty assessment followed by geriatric intervention. This study will compare chemotherapy tolerance and treatment-related toxicity between frail and non-frail patients.
