Study on VHL-Associated Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Recruiting
12 years and older
All
Phase 2

The purpose of this study is to investigate von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease, focusing on pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. VHL can affect multiple organs, including the pancreas, leading to the development of tumors.

This study evaluates a new scanning technique to detect pancreatic tumors in people with VHL. Researchers are examining the safety and effectiveness of the 68-Gallium DOTATATE PET/CT scan for better detection of these tumors.

  • Who can participate: Individuals aged 12 and older diagnosed with VHL, who have pancreatic manifestations of the disease, are eligible to participate.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo various imaging tests, such as CT, PET/CT, MRI, or ultrasound. A placebo is not used in this study.
