This study investigates the use of molecular residual disease (MRD) monitoring based on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in borderline resectable or locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The purpose of this study is to understand the potential of MRD monitoring as a tool in this condition.
The study evaluates the prognostic value of baseline MRD and examines how changes in MRD after treatment may guide future treatment decisions. It focuses on understanding these factors to potentially improve treatment strategies.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with histologically confirmed borderline resectable or locally advanced pancreatic cancer can participate if they have an ECOG performance status score of 2 or less and an expected survival time of at least 3 months.
- Study details: Participants will provide peripheral blood samples for MRD tests before starting conversion therapy and after the first imaging assessment following chemotherapy.
