PET-imaging of Two Vartumabs in Patients With Solid Tumors

Investigational Imaging Study for Solid Tumors Using Antibody Fragments

Recruiting
18 years and older
All
Phase 0

This study investigates patients with solid tumors. The purpose of this study is to explore the distribution and effects of two investigational antibody fragments that target oncofetal Chondroitin Sulfate, a molecule associated with cancer.

The study evaluates how these antibody fragments are distributed in the body and how they accumulate in tumors. It also examines the safety and how the body processes these fragments.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with a life expectancy of more than 12 weeks and an ECOG performance status of 0 or 1 may participate. Participants must have a confirmed diagnosis of specific types of solid tumors.
  • Study details: Participants will receive a single administration of investigational antibody fragments labeled with a radioactive substance. The study will evaluate how these fragments move through and affect the body. A placebo is not used in this study.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
