This study investigates pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The purpose of this study is to explore how circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) minimal residual disease (MRD) can guide adjuvant therapy for patients who have had surgery to remove pancreatic cancer.
The study evaluates whether using ctDNA MRD can help in deciding the best adjuvant treatment approach. It focuses on the potential benefits of reducing chemotherapy in low-risk patients and intensifying it in high-risk patients to improve their health outcomes.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 to 75 years who have had surgery to remove pancreatic adenocarcinoma can participate. Participants must have recovered from surgery, be able to receive chemotherapy, and have available tumor tissue for testing.
- Study details: Participants will either receive a therapy guided by ctDNA MRD results or standard adjuvant therapy. If ctDNA MRD tests are negative, chemotherapy may be stopped with regular follow-ups.
