This study investigates pancreatic cancer. The purpose of this study is to develop a model using imaging techniques to capture tumor differences with a multiscale radiomics approach.
The study evaluates the potential of radiomics to provide a comprehensive non-invasive characterization of pancreatic cancer, which can lead to early detection and better monitoring of treatment.
- Who can participate: Adults over 18 with confirmed pancreatic cancer eligible for surgery or chemotherapy can participate. Women must have a negative pregnancy test, and participants must be part of a social protection system and provide informed consent.
- Study details: Participants will undergo imaging procedures to assess tumor characteristics. The study uses radiomics to replace the need for invasive biopsies, providing a virtual sample of the tumor. An inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine is called a placebo.
