Recruiting
18-75 years
All
Phase 3

This study investigates the use of a modified tissue adhesive during pancreatic surgery for patients with soft pancreas. The purpose of this study is to compare the effects of using a special glue versus the standard surgical method in reducing complications after surgery.

The study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of the tissue adhesive in providing additional support during surgery. It focuses on whether this method can lower the chances of developing leaks after the procedure.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 to 75 scheduled for elective pancreatic surgery for malignant lesions can participate. They must have soft pancreatic texture confirmed during surgery and meet specific health criteria, including adequate organ function and ECOG performance status 0-2.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo pancreatic surgery with or without the application of an investigational adhesive. The study uses a control group without adhesive.
