This study investigates the use of radiogenomics to understand the malignant potential of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms of the pancreas. These are specific types of growths in the pancreas that can vary in their potential to become cancerous.
The study focuses on gathering information from blood, tissue, medical images, and surveys to develop noninvasive diagnostic tools. These tools are intended to help personalize clinical care for patients with pancreatic conditions.
- Who can participate: Individuals with or suspected to have a pancreatic lesion, cyst, mass, cancer, or pancreatitis, who have not yet received treatment, are eligible. Participants must understand and sign an informed consent form.
- Study details: Participants will complete questionnaires and donate medical images and biological specimens such as blood and tissue. These efforts contribute to building a comprehensive database for research purposes.
