This study investigates pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. It focuses on using a special imaging technique to detect certain components of the tumor that standard CT scans might miss.
The study evaluates a new scanning method using a radioactive tracer called Gallium-68-labeled FAP inhibitor (FAPi) with PET scans. It looks at how well this tracer binds to tumor tissues and possibly to other areas where the cancer might spread.
- Who can participate: Adults over 18 years with biopsy-proven pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma can participate. Participants must not have other malignancies or be pregnant or lactating.
- Study details: Participants will undergo a PET scan using Gallium-68-labeled FAPi in addition to the standard CT scan. The study compares how these scans detect tumor tissues. A placebo is not involved in this study.
