This study investigates the detection of tumor cells and DNA in patients with solid cancers. It focuses on understanding how cancer spreads by examining circulating tumor cells and DNA in the blood, urine, and bone marrow.
The study evaluates these biological markers to enhance knowledge about cancer biology and to potentially develop personalized therapies for cancer treatment.
- Who can participate: Adults over 18 with solid cancer diagnoses, including lung, esophageal, and stomach cancers, are eligible. Participants must be able to give informed consent. Eligibility for a control group will be determined based on specific criteria related to health status and absence of cancer.
- Study details: Participants will provide blood, urine, and bone marrow samples for analysis. The study will examine these samples for tumor cells and DNA. A placebo is not involved.
