Phase N/A

This study investigates the use of an AI system in the management of pancreatic diseases. The AI system analyzes contrast-enhanced CT scans to assist in making clinical decisions.

The study evaluates the safety and accuracy of the AI system in comparison to traditional clinical decisions. It focuses on the AI's ability to correctly classify patients and improve decision-making for pancreatic conditions.

  • Who can participate: Adults scheduled for contrast-enhanced CT for suspected pancreatic disease and who have provided informed consent can participate. Exclusions include those with a history of pancreatic surgery or contraindications to CT contrast.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo contrast-enhanced CT scans, and the AI system will classify their condition. The AI's classifications will be compared to decisions made by clinical doctors.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?

Compensation varies per trial. Some offer payment or reimbursement for time and travel, while others may not.

How safe are clinical trials?
