This study investigates pancreatic adenocarcinoma. It focuses on the use of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a marker to determine if surgery is beneficial for patients with this condition.
The study evaluates the prognostic value of ctDNA. This study investigates if ctDNA can predict how well patients respond to treatment and if it can guide decisions on surgical resectability.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with pancreatic adenocarcinoma who are candidates for surgery can participate. Participants must also have a non-metastatic status confirmed by a CT scan and be able to provide informed consent.
- Study details: Participants will undergo blood tests to measure ctDNA levels. These tests will determine the usefulness of ctDNA as a marker for surgical decisions.
