UCSF PANC Cyst Registry

Investigating Pancreatic Cysts Through an Investigational Registry

Recruiting
18 years and older
All
Phase N/A

The purpose of this study is to investigate pancreatic cysts. These cysts are often found during scans done for other reasons and may sometimes lead to pancreatic cancer. However, many are harmless, making it important to understand them better.

The study focuses on creating a registry to track patients with pancreatic cysts. By collecting data over time, this study investigates how these cysts develop and when they might become cancerous. This information will help doctors decide if a patient needs surgery, should be watched closely, or if no further action is needed.

  • Who can participate: Adults 30 years and older with at least one pancreatic cyst can participate. They must not have a history of pancreatic cancer and need to be able to speak and read English.
  • Study details: Participants will be part of a registry that tracks their health over time. This data will help doctors understand which cysts might turn cancerous and which are harmless.
