TTFields and Chemotherapy in Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma (mPDAC)

Investigating the Safety and Tolerability of TTFields with Chemotherapy in Metastatic Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

Recruiting
18 years and older
All
Phase 1/2

This study investigates the combination of TTFields and chemotherapy in individuals with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. TTFields use electric fields to target cancer cells, and this study will explore how they work with chemotherapy in this condition.

The study evaluates the safety and effectiveness of combining TTFields with chemotherapy. It looks at how patients tolerate the treatment and how well the combination works against the cancer.

  • Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma can join. Participants must have at least one liver lesion accessible for biopsy and a life expectancy of at least 3 months. They should also be able to operate the Novo TTF-200T System independently or with help.
  • Study details: Participants will receive TTFields along with chemotherapy. A placebo is not used in this study. TTFields are applied using a device placed on the skin, delivering electric fields to the tumor area.
  • Study timelines: The study will last 24 months.
