This study investigates the use of an investigational medication delivered directly into the tumor for patients with locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate how this method works alongside a procedure called irreversible electroporation, which is used to treat these types of cancer.
The study focuses on assessing the safety and potential benefits of combining the investigational medication with irreversible electroporation. Researchers are interested in understanding how this combination might affect the immune system's response to cancer.
- Who can participate: Adults over 18 with confirmed locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma can participate. Participants must have adequate organ function and no evidence of distant metastatic disease.
- Study details: Participants will receive the investigational medication directly into their tumor during a surgical procedure. The study will evaluate the effects of this delivery method. A placebo, which is an inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine but does not contain any medicine, may be used for comparison.
