This study investigates the microbial diversity in pancreatic diseases. It focuses on understanding the different types of microbes present in pancreatic tissues and their role in various pancreatic conditions.
The study evaluates the relationship between microbial characteristics and patient conditions. It examines how these microbes might affect the environment within the pancreas and influence disease outcomes.
- Who can participate: Participants aged between 5 and 85 years old with pancreatic diseases are eligible.
- Study details: Tissue samples will be collected from existing pancreatic surgical specimens and analyzed for microbial content. The study does not involve any treatment interventions. An inactive substance that looks like the investigational medicine/vaccine but does not contain any medicine (placebo) may be used, if applicable.
