This study investigates pancreatic neoplasms. It focuses on using a technique called EUS-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA), which is a method to treat these neoplasms without surgery.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, feasibility, and effectiveness of EUS-guided RFA for treating solid pancreatic neoplasms. It looks at how this method can be a treatment option for patients who cannot undergo surgery.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors or pancreatic ductal carcinoma (less than 5 cm) confirmed by fine needle aspiration cytology, who are unsuitable for surgery, can participate. They must be eligible for endoscopic intervention and able to provide informed consent.
- Study details: Participants will undergo EUS-guided RFA using a special electrode and generator. This study will monitor the overall adverse events rate.
