Pancreatic Cystic Lesions and Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy

Recruiting
18 years and older
All
Phase N/A

This study investigates pancreatic cystic lesions. The purpose of this study is to use confocal laser endomicroscopy as an imaging tool for diagnosis.

The study evaluates the effectiveness of using this imaging technique to identify and diagnose pancreatic cystic lesions. It focuses on understanding how well this method works in providing accurate diagnoses.

  • Who can participate: Adults 18 years or older referred for EUS-FNA of pancreatic cystic lesions where surgery is considered. Cysts must be at least 2.0 cm.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo EUS-guided confocal laser endomicroscopy followed by EUS-guided fine needle aspiration for diagnosis. A placebo is not involved in this study.
