Recruiting
All
Phase N/A

This study investigates advanced biliopancreatic cancer. It looks into combining a standard pain relief procedure, the Celiac Plexus Block, with first-line cancer medications.

The study evaluates how well this combined approach controls pain and cancer. It also checks for side effects and overall patient outcomes.

  • Who can participate: Adults with advanced biliopancreatic cancer experiencing significant pain and eligible for first-line treatment may participate. Participants should have a Numeric Rating Scale pain score of 4 or more and a life expectancy of at least 3 months.
  • Study details: Participants will undergo a Celiac Plexus Block procedure to manage pain, followed by their standard cancer treatment. An inactive substance that resembles the investigational medicine but contains no active ingredients is referred to as a placebo.
  • Study timelines: The study will last up to 2 years.
