The purpose of this study is to evaluate screening methods for pancreatic cancer in individuals with a high genetic risk, specifically focusing on those with BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, or PALB2 mutations.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and MRI in identifying early pancreatic lesions. It focuses on the safety and potential benefits of these screening methods in detecting pancreatic cancer at an early, treatable stage.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 or older with a documented BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, or PALB2 mutation may participate. If there is no family history of pancreatic cancer, participants must be 50 or older. Those with a family history of pancreatic cancer must be at least 10 years younger than the age at which their youngest affected relative was diagnosed.
- Study details: Participants will undergo screening using endoscopic ultrasound or MRI to detect early pancreatic lesions.
