Investigational Study on Increasing Germline Genetic Testing in Cancer Patients

Recruiting
All
Phase N/A

The purpose of this study is to investigate germline genetic testing in patients with breast, pancreatic, or colorectal cancer. This study investigates how different strategies can help oncology teams order more genetic tests for these patients.

The study evaluates the effectiveness of various strategies to improve genetic testing rates. It focuses on understanding how these strategies impact the ordering and completion of tests, with the purpose of improving access to genetic testing in cancer care.

  • Who can participate: Oncology care team members, including oncologists, advanced practice providers, and nurse navigators, who care for adult patients with specific types of cancer, can participate.
  • Study details: Participants will use different strategies to increase genetic testing, such as provider education and electronic health record system updates. The study will measure how these strategies affect testing rates.
