This study investigates metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. It looks at how a blood test called circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) might help detect changes in the tumor.
The focus of the study is to see if ctDNA levels can be used to make faster treatment decisions compared to waiting for imaging scans after starting chemotherapy.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older with metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma who have not received prior treatment can participate. Key factors include having detectable ctDNA and being a candidate for modified Folfirinox chemotherapy.
- Study details: Participants will provide blood samples to measure ctDNA levels. These levels might help decide on treatment changes earlier than usual. A placebo is not used in this study.
