This study investigates localized pancreatic cancer. It explores how liquid biopsy, a test using a blood sample to look for cancer cells or pieces of DNA from tumors, can guide treatment choices.
The study evaluates if this approach can help in assessing the safety and effectiveness of treatments for patients with localized pancreatic cancer.
- Who can participate: Adults 18 years and older with localized pancreatic cancer recommended for upfront surgery can participate. They must provide informed consent. Individuals with another active cancer or who are pregnant cannot join.
- Study details: Participants will give a blood sample for testing. Those with positive ctDNA results may receive chemotherapy before surgery or continue with surgery as planned. A placebo is not used in this study.
