This study investigates pancreatic steatosis in relation to pancreatic cystic neoplasms and pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The focus is on understanding whether pancreatic steatosis is more common in pancreatic cysts that are known to carry a risk of cancer.
The study evaluates the prevalence of pancreatic steatosis in these conditions to better understand its role in the development of pancreatic diseases. It looks at how pancreatic steatosis might be linked to pancreatic adenocarcinoma and other cystic lesions.
- Who can participate: Adults aged 18 and older who have at least one pancreatic cystic lesion, healthy individuals, or those with confirmed pancreatic adenocarcinoma can participate. Key eligibility factors include having a cyst size of 5mm or larger based on imaging tests.
- Study details: Participants will undergo imaging tests to assess pancreatic steatosis.
