This study investigates locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of a treatment called irreversible electroporation (IRE) combined with chemotherapy.
The study focuses on assessing the outcomes of this combined treatment. It evaluates how well the treatment works in terms of controlling the disease and improving survival rates for patients with this condition.
- Who can participate: Adults with biopsy-proven locally advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma who can receive combination chemotherapy are eligible. Pregnant individuals and those with metastatic pancreatic cancer or another active primary cancer, except certain skin cancers, cannot participate.
- Study details: Participants will receive chemotherapy and may undergo a procedure called irreversible electroporation (IRE) if eligible. IRE is a method that uses electrical pulses to target cancer cells without harming nearby tissues.
- Study timelines: The study will last 18-24 months.
