Phase 4
This study is for patients with **Sickle Cell Disease (SCD)**, a condition where red blood cells become sickle-shaped and can block blood flow. If you are currently in a study sponsored by Novartis and taking a drug called **crizanlizumab**, this study allows you to continue receiving it. **Crizanlizumab** helps to prevent blood flow blockages caused by sickle-shaped cells. There is no screening period, meaning you can transfer directly from your current study. After signing a consent form, you will continue with the same dose and schedule of crizanlizumab. The study may last up to 10 years or until the drug becomes widely available. You'll have a follow-up safety visit 105 days after your last treatment dose unless you continue treatment commercially or through a special program. **Key Points:** - **Length**: Up to 10 years or until the drug is available commercially. - **Visits**: Follow-up visit 105 days after last dose unless continuing treatment. - **Eligibility**: Must be in a current Novartis study with no severe side effects.
