Phase 1/2

This study is about testing a new medicine called ITU512. It's for people who have sickle cell disease (SCD) and also for healthy people. Sickle cell disease is a condition that affects the red blood cells. This study will look at how safe ITU512 is, how well people can handle it, and how it acts in the body.

There are two parts in the study: Part 1 is for healthy adults aged 18-55, and Part 2 is for people with SCD. Healthy participants must be in good health and meet certain weight and body condition requirements. People with SCD need to have a diagnosis of the disease to join.

  • Healthy people and those with SCD will be involved in different parts of the study.
  • Participants must not have certain health issues, like heart rhythm problems.
  • People with SCD cannot join if they are using certain medications like hydroxyurea.

By joining this study, you will help researchers understand if ITU512 can be a good treatment for SCD. Participation includes regular health checks and following the study's guidelines.
