Phase N/A

Coeliac Disease (CD) is a condition where gluten, found in wheat, barley, and rye, harms the small intestine. Most people feel better on a gluten-free diet, but some still have symptoms like bloating and pain. This study looks at whether Symprove, a probiotic drink with good bacteria, can help those ongoing symptoms.

Scientists think that even with a gluten-free diet, some people's gut bacteria may be unbalanced, causing symptoms. This study tests if Symprove can fix this imbalance and reduce symptoms. Participants will take Symprove every day, and researchers will monitor their symptoms and gut bacteria by analyzing stool samples.

  • **Duration:** Participants will take part in the study for a set period and will need to provide stool samples.
  • **Compensation:** Participants may receive compensation for their time and participation.
  • **Eligibility:** Adults aged 18-65 with confirmed CD, on a gluten-free diet for 6+ months, experiencing symptoms.

Successful results could provide a new non-drug option to improve life for coeliac patients and highlight the role of gut bacteria in their symptoms.
