Phase N/A
Evaluation of the SIMBA Capsule for Small Intestinal Dysbiosis The **SIMBA Capsule** is a tiny, one-time-use pill you swallow to collect samples from your small intestine. This study will help us find out if the capsule can detect changes in the small intestinal microbiome, a community of tiny organisms living in our intestines. We will compare the results from the capsule with your symptoms and stool samples. You may need to swallow up to 4 capsules on two different days and complete a questionnaire about your lifestyle and health. Key Points:
  • Participants will swallow up to 4 capsules and provide stool samples.
  • You must be between 18-80 years old and able to follow study rules.
  • No major diet or medication changes during the study.
Eligibility: You need to be between 18-80 years old and cannot have certain digestive diseases unless diagnosed by a health professional. You should not have recent surgeries or conditions that cause swallowing or digestive problems. Pregnant women or those on specific medications need to be cautious.
