Researching better capsule endoscopy tools for diagnosis.

Phase N/A

In this study, we are using capsule endoscopy to help doctors do their jobs better. A capsule endoscopy is a small camera inside a pill that you swallow. It travels through your digestive system, taking lots of pictures to help doctors see what's going on inside your body. However, looking at all these pictures takes a lot of time and can be tiring for doctors. That's where artificial intelligence (AI) comes in! AI is a technology that can help make this process faster and more accurate.

By joining this study, you'll help us teach the AI to read these pictures and videos better. We'll use images from your routine capsule endoscopy, but don't worry, your identity will be protected. We will also collect some basic information like your age, gender, and why you needed the capsule endoscopy.

  • Participants need to have a capsule endoscopy as part of their usual care.
  • The study might take a few months to up to five years for different AI tools.
  • You can opt-out if you don't want your images used in research.
