Phase N/A

This study explores how a special mobile app, supported by a nurse, helps adults with newly diagnosed celiac disease. Celiac disease is when your body can't handle gluten, a protein in many foods, which can damage your stomach's lining and make you feel sick. The study uses the Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills (IMB) model, which says that people make healthier choices when they have the right info, motivation, and skills. The app, guided by a nurse, gives advice and support, aiming to improve the quality of life compared to regular education.

  • Study Length: 6 months with the use of the app.
  • Participation Requirements: You need to be 18 or older, newly diagnosed, own a smartphone, and speak Turkish.
  • Risks/Compensation: No mention of risks or compensation. Participation is voluntary.
