This study tests if a pre-recorded webinar by dietitians can help people with coeliac disease as much as one-on-one visits. Coeliac disease is a condition where eating gluten (found in wheat, barley, and rye) causes health issues. The only way to manage it is by following a strict gluten-free diet, which can be hard without help. The study aims to see if a webinar can provide the same support as traditional appointments, which often have long wait times.
Participants will be divided into two groups: one will watch the webinar, and the other will have a face-to-face or phone appointment with a dietitian. They'll complete simple questionnaires and have blood tests to check their health before and after the study.
- The study lasts for six months with two key assessments.
- Participants need internet access to join the webinar group.
- The goal is to see if webinars can make diet support faster and easier.
