The gut microbiota is like a tiny world inside our tummy that helps keep us healthy. Sometimes, this world gets upset, leading to health problems. Scientists think that Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT), which is transferring healthy poop into a sick person's gut, can help fix this. This study wants to check if FMT works and is safe for many diseases like Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and diabetes. FMT is already used for a tummy bug called CDI when other treatments don't work.
If you join, you might help discover more about how FMT can help in regular doctor settings. But, you need to have certain health issues like those listed above to participate. If you have certain conditions or are pregnant, you can't join.
