Phase N/A
**Entities and Variables Related to Catch-up Growth** This **study** observes how children with celiac disease grow after starting a gluten-free diet. **Celiac disease** is a condition where eating gluten (a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye) can damage the small intestine. **Catch-up growth** means how a child grows to make up for any growth delays. This is a **retrospective observational study**, meaning researchers will look back at previous medical records instead of involving patients directly. **Key Points:** - **Sample Size:** Researchers will study the records of 900 patients diagnosed with celiac disease between 2010 and 2020 at the V. Buzzi Children's Hospital in Milan. - **Eligibility:** Only those with a celiac disease diagnosis confirmed according to specific guidelines will be included. Exclusions include patients with unclear diagnoses, other chronic illnesses, or insufficient data. - **No Direct Involvement Required:** As this is an observational study, there is no need for patient visits or treatments; it's based on past medical records. This study is not-for-profit, meaning it's done for research purposes, not to make money. It's important to understand that personal data will remain anonymous, ensuring privacy.
