This study aims to learn more about autoimmune diseases by studying tissues from patients who have these diseases. Autoimmune diseases happen when the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own tissues. The study will collect tissue samples from people with active symptoms to identify which immune cells, called T cells, are involved in the disease. T cells have special parts called TCRs (T Cell Receptors) that help them recognize and attack targets. The researchers will use a technology called TScan to find out what these TCRs are targeting.
- This study involves a tissue sample collection during medical procedures.
- Adults (18+) with certain autoimmune diseases may join.
- Certain medications cannot be taken during the study.
This study could help develop new therapies for autoimmune diseases, but joining means providing tissue samples and possibly stopping some medications.
